ListServs

The Centre of Excellence for Students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing at NMIT has created two List Servs for those in the interpreting field.

The first, VicSLI, is for interpreters and people wanting to contact interpreters. Often working in isolation, the List Serv offers rural, remote and busy interpreters the chance to catch up online. As well, it offers an opportunity for DLOs to advertise available work.

The VicSLI List Serv is open to all interpreters, not just those working in educational settings. For more information and to subscribe, go to: http://list.nmit.vic.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/vicsli

The second, Int-ed, is at providing Auslan Interpreter Educators with an electronic forum to discuss issues.

To subscribe to the Int-ed List Serv, go to http://list.nmit.vic.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/int-ed
